This 2x2 is the best one i have ever tried. It rarely corner twists, it's controllable, but just fast enough to work for a slow to moderately fast turning speed, meaning it will be great speed for most people. Magnets are just the right strength and the tensions are great right out of the box. The feel is pretty smooth with a slight bump from the magnets, but it is barely noticeable during solving. It's also really cheap, especially for a magnetic puzzle. $9.99 is nothing compared to what you get for this puzzle.

This cube is very slow at the beginning and bumps a lot so make sure you wipe out the factory line and replace it with your choice and it will be good. The magnet strength is nice and comes with extra springs washers and magnets. There is a ton of lube on the plastic so be careful. :-/ The box is very good quality which has another box in the inside and a flap to open the there is plastic on the outside of the cube to protect the cube. Only 4 9.99 it is a steal.

Best 2x2 at just about 10 dollars
The mgc 2x2 can't be beat at its price for the level of performance it has. The fact that it has magnets at its price point is also a huge factor that cannot be beat

I'm not experienced with 2x2 but this 2x2 is great. This cube has phenomenal corner cutting(45 degrees and any farther it reverse corner cuts.) and the magnets are the perfect strength. The speed is also perfect. With me averaging 10 seconds with ortega I am able to control this cube but if feel like if I needed to I could turn faster. And for $8.99 this cube is a steal.
