This is my first non-Moyu cube. I purchased it based on reviews and recommendations from a number of sources.
Initial impressions: covered in lube, does not turn well, slight lockups. I'm not the fastest solver (my best 3x3 solve is around 70 seconds) but I don't immediately see how this could be used for speed solving.
After a few solves, I find myself learning to do wide turns with a smaller wide turn back to rotate a slice instead of simply flipping a slice with a single finger like I do on my 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5. This works fairly well although there are occasional lockups on top side rotations if the puzzle isn't aligned properly.
I wasn't sure at first if my cube had magnets which caught me off guard. This puzzle doesn't "click" into place as much as my Moyu cubes. After a some subtle manipulation, I can definitely feel the magnets on the inner layers, but they are definitely weaker on the outer layers.
Later impressions: At this point, I've probably solved this cube about 5 times. The lube on the outside has worn away and the cube is starting to turn better. Still some lockups but it is getting easier. I've never taken a cube apart to lube it myself, but I may need to for this one.

The cube has been great. Turns smoothly; doesn't stick; between the magnets and a little corner cutting you don't have to worry about lining up every turn perfectly.

BEST ON THE MARKET, NOT GREAT OOTB
Out of the box, the cube is overlubed with cheap factory lube, and it takes a few days if solves to wear off all of that lube. It’s turning is not that great out of the box, but it gets better. Overall, it’s the best 6x6 on the market, but don’t expect to break any PBs within the first week of using the puzzle.

X man shadow
This was great! I recommend tightening it 1 or 2 quarters so it won’t pop. After a couple of solves, it tires my hands a little, but i’d take that over a pop. I would like for it to be faster, but overall a good cube!

ootb it was really greasy and it still is pretty greasy after a week of having it but overall performance is great, feels similar to the Spark 7x7. Not really fast, but pretty smooth and stable (1 pop so far, easy to fix).

Out of the box the puzzle was very loose, to the point of regular turns being difficult without pops, however, after tightening the puzzle substantially and lubing it, the puzzle was FANTASTIC, easily the best 6x6 after setup. Strong magnets with a soft smooth feeling. Great.

this is the best 6x6 on the market. I got this cube when I was averaging 5 minutes and after practicing with this cube for about week I started averaging sub 4.
I would definitely recommend this cube to anyone trying to get into 6x6.

This cube made me significantly faster at 6x6 and more interested in the event overall. It's got a nice, smooth and somewhat sandy feel to it, and the magnets help so much. Lockups and pops happen occasionally as with almost any 6x6, but this is honestly something I've come to expect at this point (and these would probably go away with tightening or more accurate turning). I don't hesitate to say that this is the best 6x6 out of the box, and if you know what you're doing (which I don't), I feel that it could be set up to be almost perfect.

The X-Man Shadow M became my main 6x6 out of the box. With break in, the lockups/catches that many others have noticed went away for me. The puzzle turns smoothly and the magnets are not too strong. I recommend this cube if you are interested in upgrading your current 6x6 hardware and care about your 6x6 times/hardware.

Possibly the best 6x6 on the market
The X-Man Shadow M is likely to be the best 6x6 on the market. I was expecting the cube to turn similar to the Wuhua V2 since it was the most recent 6x6 released by Qiyi and there shouldn't be a much step up in 6x6 hardware. I was definitely wrong. This cube turns possibly even better than the Wushuang. The cube is very smooth and fast. The magnets are on the weaker side, but with some set-up I believe that this won't be a big issue. I expect the Shadow M to replace a lot of people's current mains and new records be broken with it.

I got the stickerless one and love it! After 100 solves I've had a few lockups but only 1 pop! It's very easy to use and set up, the magnets are on the weaker side which I prefer.
