Really just a great cube. The kilominx is basically a very entertaining and fun cube.

Best kilominx on the market. But then again, only kilominx on the market. It’s a decent puzzle; smooth turning, but the corner cutting isn’t too great. Locks up a fair amount. There was excessive lubricant on the outside of the puzzle (seems to be a trend of Shengshou products), but it can be wiped off. Overall this puzzle’s pretty good for the price… and until another kilominx comes out, you don’t exactly have many other options.

locks up too much
overall a very fun cube to solve. the only problem is that the cube locks up too much and makes you want to throw the thing on the ground.

7/10: Shengshou Kilominx
The Shengshou kilominx is the first mass produced kilominx puzzle available for purchase in the cubing market. A kilominx is essentially a 2x2 version of the regular megaminx, meaning that there are no edges and only corners, much like a 2x2x2 cube compared to a 3x3x3 one. It is a very quick and easy puzzle to solve, but it is lots of fun and can help beginners learn the basics of how the more complex megaminx works.
Out of the box, the puzzle was absolutely drowned in factory lube. There was so much lube within the puzzle that it had covered the entire surface, getting the stickers all greasy and dirty. I had to clean the excess lube off with a damp cloth and a small amount of soap to remove the greasy feeling. As for turning, this puzzle is quite fast, and the layers are smooth. Although it is a 12 sided puzzle, thus making it harder to grip and solve quickly, the layers can be finger tricked and turned very quickly, which is nice. The kilominx also features the same great sticker colors featured on the Shengshou megaminx.
As far as downsides, the cube has a few flaws. The first one being that the stock tensions seemed really random. Some layers were very fast and others felt sluggish and were barely able to turn out of the box. In order to tension the puzzle, you need to use a small flat head screw driver or something of the sort to pry open the small black caps on each center to access the screw. Once I adjusted each layer equally, the problem was solved and the layers felt more or less the same, although some layers still feel slower compared to the others. Another issue is corner cutting. There is a bit of normal, but there is literally no reverse at all, resulting in frequent lockups and catches. This can be annoying, especially considering it is a 12 sided puzzle so the layers can become easily misaligned.
Overall, the kilominx is lots of fun and decent quality. It is a nice little puzzle to have in your collection and I would recommend it.

This was great right out of the box! It is a fun and pretty easy puzzle to solve if you know how to solve a megaminx!\

Good but can be better
This cube is good but it does lock up a bit. But it is one of a kind. MoYu can probably make a better version but we'll see...

Could Be Improved But Still Extremely Glad I Got It!
After solving this for a few days I can say that this is another great puzzle from Shengshou. It's very easy and fast to solve, If you can solve a megaminx, this should only take you a few seconds to solve, much like a 2x2. It came pre-lubed and with equal tensions. The only thing missing is corner cutting! It's made from Shengshou's high quality plastic and doesn't feel cheap at all. I would love to see this become a WCA event and I recommend this to anyone!

This is a fun little puzzle to solve, and although it catches sometimes, it is still the best Kilominx out there. I say get this puzzle.

Megaminx: something is missing!...The edges!
I bought this just to have in my collection. Basically it's a Megaminx without the edges. Very nice to solve it!

ShengShou 2x2 Megaminx
Very well made puzzle and looks nice, turning is excellent out of the box. It is easy to solve if you know how to solve Megaminx, it is basicly Megaminx without edges, corners only. Nice addition to collection!

It's pretty fast and incredibly smooth out of the box, this thing just wants to move! It's very solid feeling and stable, and even corner cuts a little, though not much and there's very little reverse cutting, that said it still performs possibly better than Shengshou's regular Megaminx's, which it basically is with "hidden" edges. Many people don't like look but it has honestly grown on me. Whether this becomes a WCA event or not, you should definitely pick one of these up!

ShengShou 2x2 Megaminx
This is great puzzle and very enjoyable to solve. Out of the box this puzzle was smooth and really does not need any breaking in or lubrication since it it pretty fast already. Great puzzle.

Shengshou 2x2 Megaminx
This is an awesomely fun puzzle. The Shengshou Kilominx turns well, corner cuts, is high quality, and very fun to solve right out of the box. I really think this puzzle has the potential to be a great candidate for WCA competition. Its solution is fun, and can be done in a time frame that seems to be perfect for competition. At least, if the 2x2 cube can be in WCA, this should be too!
Anyway, aside from it being a great candidate for competition solving, it's an amazingly fun puzzle, great for starting out on 12 axis puzzles, and isn't super trivial like a 2x2 cube. The puzzle turns well, almost too well, sometimes I drop it because the whole puzzle just WANTS to move, and it's easy to grab it wrong and have 3 layers spin at once while it flies out of your hand!
At its core, this is really just a Megaminx with tiny, black centers and edges, and huge corners. I bet you could even sticker the centers and edges with tiny little stickers, I might try that. then you'd just have a really unique megaminx that turns really well.
If you like Minx puzzles, your collection would not be complete without this puzzle, and I hope ShengShou has set the stage for a solid Kilominx design, for other companies to try to make even better versions!

This is a wonderful puzzle for all dedicated minx'ers. This corners-only megaminx has amazing turning, albeit slightly catchy, with a different kind of solve. I recommend this non-WCA puzzle to all cubers!

I have never felt a flowerminx but I have seen and this looks a lot better. It feels similar to their megaminx and cornercutting could be better still not bad. Really fun. A slightly easier megaminx. Definitely recommend and it would be cool to see this as an a wca event.
