You will twist this puzzle, but it will twist your brain.
You might be wondering what this puzzle is. I know, it's hard to tell by looking at it. The Dayan Gem IV is a four layer face turning truncated octahedron. It's VERY challenging, not only because of the large number of pieces, but because some pieces require a combination of both slice and face moves to manipulate them. The smallest (edge?) pieces can want to pop out if you are not careful. One time about four pieces popped out at the same time. I knew at that point that a solve may not be possible if I put it back together incorrectly. So, I had to disassemble the whole puzzle and put it back together. This was a blessing in disguise that gave me a better understanding on how the puzzle works and the different pieces. It has four different types of pieces. The stickers are flawless and the color scheme is standard white opposite yellow, etc, with an additional two sides (grey opposite purple). You need to place the centers in the correct scheme before you begin solving!
