For the DIY Kit, the Cube is pretty easy and straightforward to assemble. Instead of using the stock stickers you would normally apply, I used my own shades. The Zhanchi is still a great speedcube even after all of these years. Despite being good, it will only get 4 stars. Here is why.
After assembling the cube, it was smooth with a very clicky response when turning fast. It was also very springy and it will annoy some people. After setting up the Zhanchi to my liking, it was decent. It still had that smooth clicky turning; however, it felt quieter than before. Corner cutting is good as well. It can do 45 normal and 2/3 reverse. Lock ups are there but they are somewhat rare. Corner twists can also happen so make sure your tensions are even. Overall, it is a decent speedcube and I would only recommend it to collectors at this point in time.
