The face turning rhombic dodecahedron (12-axis) was a refreshing and challenging solve. If you like Megaminx, you will love this puzzle. I tried to solve it sequentially like a Megaminx and it threw me many curve balls (which I enjoyed). Make sure you scramble it properly. You need to jumble it a little bit to separate every corner piece from it's adjacent edge piece.
Solving the last layer was like playing chess with Garry Kasparov. It involved strategy as well as every algorithm I could try to muster and adapt. On the Rubik's cube or Megaminx, you can get by with one simple corner orientation algorithm and one simple permutation algorithm. However, because this puzzle has six corners to a side and a lack of symmetry, you're going to need to be more creative or come up with more algorithms.
Out of the box, the faces turn very smooth and easily and I've had no problems with the stickers. The tension was just right.
