I ordered the the unstickered version and applied my own colors. Out of the box, it was a little slow and gummy, but after loosening the tensions and doing about 40 solves, it started to break in. I have not lubed this cube yet, so it is still a little slow. The feel reminds of a mix between a Rubik's brand and a GuoGuan YueXiao. It is a lot more controllable than most speed cubes.

TL;DR: Would recommend for anyone who's a beginner or intermediate.

The solid outer pieces were a really nice improvement to the aolong cubes in my opinion. The feel is similar to a CX3 but it definitely performs better than that. The M slices are ridiculously fast. Some weight 4, 5, or traxxas will definitely help this.

The Aolong Gt is the same as the Aolong V2. The difference is only that it corner twist a teeny bit less and is a bit less likely to pop. Would recommend you spend one more dollar and buy the Weilong GTS instead.

It has a very smooth, scratchy, and bumpy feel. This cube is basically an upgraded version of the Tanglong. I was very hyped to hear that Moyu was releasing a new Aolong, but when I got it, it felt nothing like my V2. I still enjoy it much more than my old cube. Corner cutting is up to par, and corner twists do not happen at all. Pops are not evident and I have never gotten one. If you like a Gans or a Tanglong, you should definitely get this puzzle.

The GT is yet another 3x3 released by the one and only Moyu. The GT was made to fix the problems of the previous Aolong v2. I believe this was totally unnecessary as I think there are no problems with the v2. Out of the box, I immediately saw those disgusting Dayan/Shengshou shades. I have since replaced the stickers with my color scheme. The turning is smooth and gives a clicky feedback. One thing to note is that this cube is heavier compared to other 3x3s. The corner cutting is great as well. Over 45 normal and almost a piece reverse. Catching is there but it is not often it happens. Corner twisting is non existence due to the design of the pieces. One issue that made me really mad is how exact the pieces are compared to the v2. In fact, I was able to take a v2 piece and put it in the GT (and vice-versa) and was able to move the exact same. The GT, from my point of view, is taking the v2 and adding squared off corners and calling it a "new" cube. Overall, I think it is pretty good; however, if you like your Aolong v2, there is no point in getting this cube.

Out of the box the cube had a very very interesting feel to it... unique. I liked it immediately. The cube is very heavy and smooth, but once it broke in it picked up a catchy/lockiness that sealed its fate. Not for me.
