An excellent cube. A++++

Amazing cube would get another

Out of the box this cube is sluggish, doesn't corner cut all that much, and just like all Moyu cubes comes very dry. After cleaning out the stock lubricant, putting weight 4 on the core and weight 1 on the pieces, the cube became very smooth and fast. This has been my main 5x5 since I bought it, but there is one thing that bothers me every time I solve it, (don't get me wrong it is actually really fun to turn) the cube locks up a lot particularly in the outer layers. This will happen in the middle of parit, messing up my entire solve and then again in the 3x3 stage. Despite the lockups, this cube is by far my favorite 5x5 due to the smooth, fast, and stable feel of the puzzle. Buy this cube if you are a collector, or if you don't mind bad lockups.

Although the Huachuang was a MASIVE upgrade from the the first Moyu 5x5 (the Aochuang), it is way too expensive, when comparing to the cubes out at time of this review. Out of the box, it was sandy and smooth. It came with stock stickers which I have replaced. The turning, after breaking in, which actually takes a really long time to break in, is light and buttery smooth. The lock ups and pops are now non existent with the new mechanism. Although this is a great cube, I would NOT recommend it. This is for two reason. One, the price, and two, the amount of time it takes for it to get amazing.
