Being a fan of the YuXin line of speed cubes, I picked this 2x2 up to give it a test and to see how it compared to some other budget 2x2s.
Overall, the feel was great right out of the box. It has a very smooth, yet crisp feel to it and just feels great to turn during algorithms and solves.
Tensions were a little tight out of the box, but with some loosening and applying some lube, it feels really fast and responsive.
Only downside I can see with this cube is the corner cutting, which requires some force to make it cut 45, and that's even on very loose tensions. Reverse cutting is also very little, so lock ups can be frequent if you attempt to solve it very quickly.
I wouldn't recommend this cube to a veteran cuber because of these flaws, but it is a very nice 2x2 and would highly recommend it to a beginner speed cuber at the price.
